Two containers bearing some 115,000 food packs were collected recently and departed for the Palestine Humanitarian Fund 2021.
The fund which was opened to the public for three months starting 26 May 2021 until 23 August 2021 saw a collection of $1,245100.15 for the purchase of food packs and ambulances.
Appointed by the Committee of the Palestine Humanitarian Fund 2021, local company Ghanim International Corporation previously signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UNRWA on 9 February 2022 to supply food through the initiative.

Two 40 feet containers containing 2000 cartons of convenient and nutrient-dense Chicken Kabsa, Chicken Jerish and Beef Rendang left for departure on 20 April 2021.
Through this contribution, it is hoped to ease the burden and ensure the survival of the Palestinian people, said Ghanim in a statement.
Witnessing the departure was Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Economy Pengiran Hajah Zety Sufina Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, and Permanent Secretary (Community and Culture) at Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Hajah Nor Ashikin Haji Johari as well as senior officers from MCYS and board members of Ghanim International.
