The 15th Edition of Shell LiveWIRE Brunei Business Awards (LWBA) is now open for registration.
In a press statement, Shel LiveWIRE Brunei said that the award is a vital part of the LiveWIRE International Program, which is held throughout the world to reward and recognise young entrepreneurs in Brunei Darussalam who generate high-quality business plans and run successful businesses.
There are two categories opened this year namely, Open and Higher Institutions.
The Business Award Focus has chosen seven primary themes in the competition to align Shell LiveWIRE Brunei’s main stakeholders’ focus on Circular Economy and In Country Value possibilities – maintaining Digitalisation, Agrotechnology and Smart Manufacturing, and adding Environmental Sustainability, Social Impact, Business Innovation and Edutainment (Education and Arts & Culture).
The LWBA 2022 process is scheduled to last six months and will include bootcamp, pitching session, award presentation, networking, and alumni support.
The LWBA is an initiative by Shell LiveWIRE Brunei, funded by Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) with the objective of supporting the country’s effort to diversify economically active participation for rapid development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

In addition to the Business Awards, LiveWIRE is anticipating Top Ten Innovators which is Shell LiveWIRE annual Global Competition that will be happening in parallel this June.
