Brunei records over 1000 recoveries

Brunei recorded 1415 new recovered cases of COVID-19 on Friday, announced the Ministry of Health in an infographic.

To date, the country has recorded a total of 169,051 recoveries.

Meanwhile, five cases under Category 4 have been admitted for close monitoring and require the aid of oxygen assistance.

Moreover, one case in Category 5 requires treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Meanwhile, two deaths associated with COVID-19 have been recorded in the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health also shared 76.6 per cent of children aged 5 to 11 years old have received their second vaccination.

Whereas, 50.8 per cent of children aged 5 to 11 years old have received their third dose of vaccine.

Meanwhile, the coverage rate for the country’s citizens and residents who have received three doses of the vaccine is 73.6 per cent.

Whereas, 3.8 per cent of the general population have received their fourth dose of vaccine.
