Nissan Brunei recently unveiled the all-new SUV “Nissan Magnite”, boasting a bold and fresh design, illustrating Nissan’s global SUV heritage and advanced Japanese engineering that not only delivers performance but also fuel efficiency.
The name “Magnite” is a portmanteau of the words ‘magnetic’ and ‘ignite’, hearkening back to Nissan’s philosophy to empower people through breakthrough product and technologies as the all-new subcompact crossover SUV feature elements that are both stylish and functional which satisfies current consumer trends.
“The Nissan Magnite will deliver most requirements with no doubt, giving a seamless and fun driving experience,” said Lim Jin Lee, the Executive Manager of Boustead Sdn Bhd.
“ (With) a best in-class ground clearance of 205mm, (the) Nissan Magnite can handle most roads without any difficulties. We really hope all our customers will be very satisfied with such an excellent product,” he added.
Exhilarate your drive
Specially designed in Japan, the Nissan Magnite is powered by 1.0 – liter turbocharged engine that emits a horsepower of 99HP/5,000 and torque of 160Nm/3,600 (Magnite Upper MT) & 152Nm/4,400 (Magnite Premium CVT) and has been tested at Nissan’s world-class testing facility, the Nissan Tochigi Proving Ground alongside other models such as the Nissan GT-R and Nissan Ariya.
Drive in style
Thanks to its big, beautiful, bold and fresh take on the SUV, the Nissan Magnite beams with confidence and an agile stance while still appearing vibrant and youthful.
The all-LED front light package ensures that the way ahead is always crystal clear with first-in-segment Bi-Projector LED Headlamps and the new Nissan Magnite LED Turn Indicators.
It also includes the distinct L-Shaped Daytime Running Lights and LED fog lamps that guarantee the path ahead is effortlessly illuminated. At the rear-end the Nissan Magnite is equipped with its Wide Split Signature Tail Lamp.
The Nissan Magnite also features keyless entry with a push-start button, 16” rims, silver front and rear bumper skid plates, functional roof rails which can load up to a maximum weight of 50kg and of course, its high ground clearance of 205mm.
Together with the edgy grille, featuring Nissan’s new brand logo emblem, the Nissan Magnite bears a striking SUV presence.
Variants
For Brunei Darussalam, the Nissan Magnite is available in two variants namely the Magnite Upper (Manual Transmission) and the Magnite Premium CVT (Auto Transmission).
There are seven colour options between the two variants; two dual-tone colours for the CVT only (Pearl White with Black Top & Flare Garnet Red with Black Top) and five monotone paint options which include Storm White and Flare Garnet Red for the for MT only as well as Onyx Black, Blade Silver and Sandstone Brown which are available for both variants (MT & CVT).
Cruise in comfort
The Nissan Magnite is a comfortable 5-seater SUV that has a spacious layout that includes a high seating position with wide shoulder space between the driver and front passenger.
The cargo space can load up to 336L which is enough to carry daily essentials and luggage ready for any adventures. It is furnished with a centre armrest (for Magnite Premium CVT only).
Built for outgoing and active lifestyle owners, the Nissan Magnite is well equipped with an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto together with six speakers within the car.
It also has a 7-inch digital instrument display screen that shows all the required information to ensure drivers a fun yet informative drive.
Safety features
Since the introduction of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, Nissan prioritizes drivers’ and passengers’ safety as part of the fun driving experience.
There are plenty of safety features equipped in Nissan Magnite such as Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Rear View Monitor (MT only), Around View Monitor (both MT & AT) technology enhances safety by providing 360 bird’s eye view of your surroundings (applies to Magnite Premium CVT only) and an Immobilizer and Anti-Roll bar to maintain a steady drive.
It also has International Standard for Child Car Seat Fittings in cars (ISOFIX) whenever required.
