The Wawasan Brunei 2035 Supreme Council recently published ‘The Wawasan Brunei 2035 Report (2015-2022)’, sharing the progress of implementation and the achievement of efforts in support of the country’s Vision 2035 or Wawasan Brunei 2035 throughout seven years.
The report has been prepared in collaboration with ministries, implementing agencies and stakeholders and presents information on the data and initiatives.
In a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said that report also provides an overview of future trends, challenges and opportunities in a rapidly changing, competitive world landscape which aims to enhance readiness for the emergence of megatrend waves such as the 4th Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0), climate change, the digital economy driven by the Internet of Things (IoT) and others that will offer opportunities, challenges and new norms in the country’s move towards achieving the vision of the future.
To date, Brunei Darussalam has made encouraging progress toward achieving the three main goals of Wawasan Brunei 2035.
“There is however, much to be done in terms of accelerating progress including efforts to become transformative and impactful to support the achievement of Wawasan Brunei 2035,” said the pmo.
In continuing the journey towards the 2035 National Vision, continuous cooperation and strong commitment from all parties are vital to support the efforts towards achieving the Wawasan Brunei 2035.
