Some 20 orphans were treated to a scrumptious buffet spread at the Radisson Hotel Brunei and Radio Televisyen Brunei (RTB)’s sungkai get-together.
The event was part of the state broadcast and hotel’s ‘Jalinan Kasih’ project and responsible business initiative aimed at bringing communities together to share the blessings of the holy month of Ramadhan.
During the event, the orphans were also gifted with shopping vouchers from the hotel, RTB and other supporting partners.

General Manager of Radisson Hotel Miriam Wolber said that it was an honour to have partnered with RTB again for the 17th Jalinan Kasih project.
“At Radisson, we hope to continue making a positive impact in children’s lives and this event exemplified the values of care, inclusivity and kindness that we hold dear,” she said.
“We extend our sincere appreciation to all involved in making this event a success and look forward to continuing our efforts to support and uplift those in need,” she added.

Through the partnership, Radisson Hotel Brunei demonstrated its unwavering commitment to responsible business and community engagement.
Moreover, the hotel also hopes to make a positive impact in the local community, particularly during important cultural and religious observances such as Ramadan.
The children were also gifted with shopping vouchers courtesy of the initiative’s partners. Also in attendance were RTB Acting Director Cheong Chee Keong and other senior RTB officials.
