The ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council (AYEC) successfully launched the AYEC Online Webinar – “Rise and Trade: Unlocking ASEAN’s Regional Potential.”
This initiative, organised by the AYEC Education and Training Committee, is co-led by the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Brunei (YEAB) and the Thailand Young Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce.
Moderated by Aimi Ramlee, Co-Founder of Tyne Solutions and YEAB Vice President II, the webinar brought together key thought leaders to discuss trade opportunities and investment strategies within ASEAN.

Her Excellency Ambassador Boosara Kanchanalai, Thailand’s Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, delivered the opening remarks, emphasising ASEAN’s commitment to fostering regional trade and investment.
The session featured expert insights from:
• Aziimah Hambali, Partner at Hasnah Hassan & Associates, Brunei, who outlined
key legal considerations for cross-border transactions, including compliance risks, taxation, and contract enforcement.
• Mike Doyle, Senior Partner at Seri Manop & Doyle Ltd., Thailand, who provided
strategic analysis on foreign investment opportunities and regulatory challenges in ASEAN.

With over 30 attendees from ASEAN countries, the event facilitated meaningful discussions and networking opportunities, reinforcing AYEC’s mission to empower young entrepreneurs and drive economic collaboration across the region.
