D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd and Imasa Dinasti Sdn Bhd have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly activate the Kenyalang Convention and Exhibition Centre (KCEC), a flagship facility within the visionary Kenyalang Smart City (KSC) development in Miri, Sarawak.
The MOU was signed between Ar. Teo Ah Khing, Chairman of Imasa Dinasti Sdn Bhd, and Mr. Jackson Ting Jack Hing, Managing Director of D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd.
The signing ceremony, held at the Miri City Hall Chamber, was witnessed by Sarawak’s Deputy Premier Minister, YB Datuk Amar Prof Dr Sim Kui Hian, Director of the Institutes of Integrative Medicine at Fudan University, Professor Dong Jingcheng, & Mayor of Miri City, YB Mayor Adam Yii, along with distinguished guests and members of the media.
Under this partnership, D’Sunlit will contribute its expertise in event management and large-scale exhibition organisation to bring dynamic and impactful events to KCEC. As one of Brunei Darussalam’s leading integrated service providers, D’Sunlit has over four decades of experience across event management, marketing, creative solutions, exhibition planning, architectural services, and property-related initiatives. The company is known for organising the Consumer Fair & Trade Expo, Brunei’s longest-running exhibition, alongside various proprietary branded events and national-level engagements.

The collaboration reflects a shared objective to elevate KCEC as a regional destination for cross-border exhibitions, trade shows, and specialised conferences. In line with Brunei Vision 2035, which highlights the importance of economic diversification and private sector growth, this initiative is expected to create new opportunities for Bruneian businesses to expand regionally, build networks, and participate in international event platforms.
The partnership will also explore opportunities to host international conventions, industry-focused events, and medical-related programmes, in alignment with the wider development goals of Kenyalang Smart City. This includes joint cross-marketing efforts and targeted outreach that will contribute to the overall positioning of KCEC within the BIMP-EAGA and ASEAN event landscape.
D’Sunlit and Imasa Dinasti aim to drive strategic collaboration that supports regional engagement while enhancing the value proposition of KCEC as a world-class venue. The MOU marks the beginning of a long-term cooperation built on shared capabilities and a vision for growth across borders.
