Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sdn Bhd (IITH) recently launched Brunei Darussalam’s first e-commerce platform in the Takaful and insurance industry – the Insurans Islam TAIB E-Commerce platform.
The launch ceremony was held at London Hall, Airport Mall in Kampong Jaya Setia, and officiated by Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Norliah binti Haji Kula, who attended as the Guest of Honour.
The new digital platform reflects IITH’s commitment to innovation and customer convenience, offering online access to a wide range of Shariah-compliant products and services under Insurans Islam TAIB General Takaful and Insurans Islam TAIB Family Takaful.
Speaking during the event, Head of Information Management Technology (IMT) Yang Mulia Hamsulasrul Rezan bin Haji Sulaiman said, “This platform reflects Insurans Islam TAIB’s proactive approach in ensuring greater accessibility and ease for our customers, in line with the national agenda towards a digital economy.”
As the first of its kind in the country’s Takaful and insurance sector, the platform underscores the importance of embracing digital transformation to deliver customer-centric services.
The launch event also featured the highly anticipated Peluang Keemasan Grand Draw Prize Presentation Ceremony, celebrating winners of the campaign launched in May 2024.
Lewis Anak Lating emerged as the Grand Prize Winner, taking home 50 grams of gold. Haji Munir Bin Haji Buntan secured the Second Prize of 20 grams of gold, while Jomel Delos Reyes Marquez claimed the Third Prize, walking away with 10 grams of gold.
The initiative was part of IITH’s customer engagement efforts to reward loyal clients and raise awareness about its offerings.
Also in attendance were members of the Board of Directors of IITH and its subsidiaries, including Yang Mulia Dr. Norfarizal bin Othman, Yang Mulia Datin Hajah Hasnah binti Haji Ibrahim, and Yang Mulia Zamzaipa binti Ismail, the Acting Managing Director of IITH, along with members of management, staff, and valued customers.
