The report was officially launched by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, underscoring ongoing efforts to advance digital and AI development.
The launch was followed by a presentation from Radin Sufri Radin Basiuni, CEO of Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST), highlighting Brunei’s trajectory toward becoming a digitally advanced and AI-enabled economy. The report is the result of a strategic collaboration between DST and leading tech research firm Twimbit.
The State of Digital Economy and AI 2025 report highlights Brunei’s digital progress and growth potential across key sectors like e-commerce, finance, mobility and AI.
With strong infrastructure and a clear policy under Wawasan 2035, it calls for deeper partnerships and digital talent investment to fully unlock Brunei’s digital future.
