His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, is scheduled to attend the Closing Ceremony of the 28th Advanced Command and Staff Course for His Royal Highness 920 Major (U) Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
The ceremony will be held on 18 July 2025 at the United Kingdom Defence Academy in Shrivenham, Swindon, United Kingdom.
The 28th Advanced Command and Staff Course refers to a specific iteration of the Advanced Command and Staff Course offered by the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom. It is a professional military education programme designed to prepare senior officers for higher command and senior appointments. The course is typically attended by officers from various branches of the British Armed Forces, as well as international military officers.
Previously, His Royal Highness successfully completed the Single Engine Rotary Wing Series 191 Training Course in 2018; the All Arms Commando Course in 2021; and the 1317 Parachute Basic Course in 2022.
