MeowDays Pet Centre: Emerging Destination for Cat and Rabbit Care in Brunei

Since opening its doors in February 2025, MeowDays Pet Centre has quickly become a rising name among Brunei’s growing community of pet lovers, especially cat and rabbit owners. What began as a modest setup focused on pet care and quality service has grown steadily, thanks to thoughtful decision-making, a hands-on approach, and a genuine responsiveness to customer needs.

Positioned within a niche but increasingly vibrant pet care market, MeowDays has carved out a clear identity: a grooming-focused pet centre catering primarily to cats and rabbits, offering both quality and accessibility.

The early days weren’t without challenges. Initially, the shop only accepted cash and bank transfers, a notable inconvenience in today’s cashless economy. However, this was swiftly addressed, and card payments are now a standard option, reflecting the team’s commitment to customer convenience.

A key strength of the business is its product range. MeowDays offers a variety of premium cat food, including the “Royal Canin” brand, and sells it at affordable prices to make quality pet care more accessible. The business is the first official distributor of Mamicat products in Brunei—an innovative line that features modern cat scratchers and sleek stainless steel litterboxes. Additionally, MeowDays offers its own in-house freeze-dried cat food, developed with both nutrition and dental health in mind.

The freeze-drying process locks in essential nutrients while creating a light, bite-friendly texture that helps support oral hygiene.

MeowDays also specialises in cat grooming, with packages ranging from basic hygiene care, such as baths, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and sanitary shaves, to full grooming services that include aesthetic styles like the lion cut or summer shave.

These services ensure that each cat leaves in top-notch condition. Rabbit grooming is also available, offered at a flat rate of $30, demonstrating the business’s dedication to serving a loyal community of bunny owners.

MeowDays provides boarding services for cats, with four tiers of accommodation: Deluxe, Majestic, Presidential, and Presidential Plus. Each suite varies in size and is designed to provide comfort and security for feline guests, offering pet owners peace of mind while they’re away.

The thoughtful setup reflects MeowDays’ emphasis on treating pets with the same care and comfort they’d receive at home.

MeowDays has also been strategic in building its online presence. With active accounts on Instagram and TikTok (@meowdays.bn), the team regularly shares promotions, behind-the-scenes content, and creative, light-hearted posts. Their recent participation in the ICC event significantly boosted visibility, as well as consistent social media updates related to the event. This exposure played a key role in cementing MeowDays’ reputation as one of Brunei’s promising new names in pet care.

Looking ahead, MeowDays is exploring the possibility of expanding beyond grooming and retail, with plans for a veterinary clinic being considered for the future, an addition that would transform the centre into a comprehensive hub for pet health and wellness. It’s an ambitious move, but one that aligns with the business’s steady upward trajectory.

MeowDays Pet Centre continues to stand out by offering thoughtful grooming services, reliable boarding options, and a growing range of high-quality pet essentials, from freeze-dried treats to modern brands like Mamicat.

More than just a grooming hub, MeowDays is evolving into a full-service destination for cat and rabbit care in Brunei. For their loyal customers, it’s not just about convenience, it’s about trust, consistency, and a level of care that feels personal.
