A menu celebrating flavour and traditions
The menu at Spice Palace Brunei offers a wide range of North Indian favourites along with a thoughtful selection of international and local dishes.
Designed to appeal to a variety of tastes, the menu includes everything from richly spiced curries to grilled meats, tandoori items, and hearty rice dishes.

Classic North Indian dishes such as butter chicken, dal makhani, and lamb rogan josh are available alongside freshly made naan, roti, and paratha, all cooked in a traditional clay tandoor oven.
For vegetarian diners, options like paneer tikka, aloo gobi, and bhindi masala are made with fresh ingredients and house spice blends.
The biryani selection features several variations including chicken, mutton, beef, and vegetarian, each layered with aromatic basmati rice and cooked slowly to allow the flavours to develop fully.

Those looking for lighter fare can choose from Indian street food classics such as samosas, chaat, and papdi chaat.
In addition to Indian offerings, the restaurant includes pasta dishes, grilled proteins, and local favourites, providing a diverse menu suitable for both adventurous eaters and those looking for something familiar.

Beverages range from fresh juices and mocktails to traditional drinks like masala chai, mango lassi, and their own Spice Palace Special Lassi, giving guests plenty of options to pair with their meals.
What’s on our plate
We recently visited the restaurant and sampled several highlights from the menu. Each dish delivered bold flavours, thoughtful presentation and attention to detail.
The Poori Bhaji was a delightful start to the meal.
The deep-fried whole wheat bread was crisp and golden, served with a warm and spiced potato curry that offered a familiar and satisfying taste.

Next came the Chole Bhature, featuring fluffy refined flour bread paired with a rich chickpea masala. The chickpeas were cooked to perfection and packed with flavour, while the bhature added just the right texture and balance.
The Murgh E Gulistan Tikka was a standout. Tender chicken pieces were marinated in tandoori masala, topped with a layer of cheese and cooked in a traditional clay oven. The result was smoky, juicy and indulgent, with just enough heat to keep it interesting.

For something heartier, the Dum Beef Biryani offered a generous portion of marinated beef layered with fragrant basmati rice. Cooked slowly on dum, the dish was aromatic and deeply satisfying. The rice was fluffy and flavourful, while the beef was tender and well seasoned.
To complete the meal, we enjoyed the Spice Palace Special Lassi, a luxurious blend of saffron-infused yogurt topped with rose syrup, pistachios and crunchy dry fruits. Creamy, refreshing and lightly sweet, it was a fitting end to a rich and flavourful meal.

Despite its elegant and refined setting, Spice Palace BN offers a surprisingly affordable dining experience. The restaurant’s menu is thoughtfully priced to make authentic North Indian cuisine accessible without compromising on quality or taste.
Whether you are stopping by for a weekday lunch or celebrating a special occasion, you can enjoy rich, flavorful dishes crafted with premium ingredients — all without straining your budget.
