TechXpo to return from 14 to 16 August with theme “Innovate Tomorrow”

Brunei’s largest technology showcase, TechXpo, is set to return this August with an exciting line-up centred on innovation, digital inclusion, and regional cooperation.

Scheduled from 14 to 16 August 2025 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas, TechXpo 2025 will be held under the theme “Innovate Tomorrow.” The event aims to spotlight transformative technologies that align with Brunei Darussalam’s Smart Nation goals, including building a knowledge-based economy and fostering digitally resilient industries.

Organised by the InfoCom Federation Brunei (IFB) in partnership with D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd and supported by the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, the exhibition will feature a diverse mix of local and international participants showcasing innovations across multiple technology sectors.

The event recently marked a significant milestone with its Sponsor and Partner Signing Ceremony at D’Sunlit’s Multipurpose Hall. The ceremony formalised strategic partnerships essential to steering and supporting the success of TechXpo 2025.

Representing the organisers were Pengiran Sarimah binti Pengiran Haji Abdul Latiff, Chairwoman of IFB, and Ms Chui San Ting, Head of Corporate Communications at D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd.

Among the Platinum Sponsors confirmed are Unified National Networks Sdn Bhd (UNN), Huawei Technologies (B) Sdn Bhd, and imagine Sdn Bhd, with imagine also appointed as the Official Telco Partner. Data Stream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST) joined as Bronze Sponsor.

A standout feature this year is NextWave, a dedicated zone highlighting Brunei’s startups, entrepreneurs, and digital creators. The platform will showcase homegrown talent and early-stage innovations, providing them with a valuable launchpad.

The popular E-Sports Tournament will also make a return, featuring titles such as PUBG Mobile and FC25. The competition is expected to draw a strong following from youth and gaming enthusiasts.

TechXpo 2025 will offer educational engagement through AI workshops led by certified trainers from Universiti Teknologi Brunei. These beginner-friendly sessions form part of Brunei’s AI-Ready ASEAN Programme, providing practical knowledge on AI tools, applications, and ethical practices to a broad audience.

On the regional front, the BIMP-EAGA ICT CEO Forum and ICT Cluster Meeting will be held alongside the exhibition. The forum will bring together policymakers, senior executives, and ICT leaders from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines to foster cross-border collaboration in digital transformation.

Visitors can expect interactive showcases, live demonstrations, and hands-on experiences designed to engage families, students, and technology enthusiasts alike.

To further excite attendees, a Grand Lucky Draw will be held with prizes including the XReal Air 2 Ultra AR Glasses, Ebo Air 2 Plus Companion Robot, and other cutting-edge international tech products.
