The Organising Committee of the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien (SHOAS) Bridge Marathon recently announced Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) and Arrowtech Sports as the Official Partners for the highly anticipated Brunei Half-Marathon 2025, set to take place on 30 November 2025.
The event will be the first-of-its-kind to be held on the iconic Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge, offering runners a scenic route across one of Brunei’s most iconic infrastructures.
Marking the start of a three-year strategic partnership, the collaboration will feature Half-Marathon events in 2025 and 2026, culminating in a Full Marathon in 2027. The multi-year initiative aims to establish the SHOAS Bridge Marathon as a premier sporting event in the region.
Through the joint efforts of RB and Arrowtech Sports, the Brunei Half-Marathon is expected to deliver a world-class race experience that will attract runners from across the region and beyond.
Beyond the competition, the event also seeks to inspire healthy and active lifestyles while positioning Brunei Darussalam as a growing hub for international sporting events.
The committee expressed confidence that the partnership will not only elevate the standard of the marathon but also serve as a catalyst for sports tourism, showcasing Brunei’s hospitality, culture, and commitment to wellness on the global stage.
