Good news, caffeine lovers! The BWN Coffee Convention 2025 is back!

Make your way to the largest coffee and youth lifestyle event in the country, happening from now until 5 October at the Sports Hub in the National Stadium.

Organised by the Big BWN Project, this year’s CoffeeCon has gone international, featuring over 40 vendors.

The lineup includes Brunei’s most beloved cafés alongside regional participants from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand – strengthening ASEAN ties and giving visitors a taste of coffee culture from beyond Brunei.

The three-day convention is a celebration of coffee, food and creativity while also serving as a platform to empower youth entrepreneurship, support local SMEs and position Brunei as a hub for coffee and lifestyle tourism.

Beyond the extensive vendor list, visitors can enjoy a dynamic programme filled with activities, competitions, and showcases designed to inspire, educate, and entertain.

Some of the free-to-join highlights include community cuppings, roasting demonstrations, latte art showcases and barista competitions.

For those looking for deeper experiences, CoffeeCon will feature paid masterclasses, including Coffee & Cake Pairing by Dil’s, a Latte Art Workshop by Poursha and a Brewing Competition Masterclass by Tampd.

For creatively inclined visitors, HappyBrushes will host art-focused workshops and competitions such as Sip & Paint bento cake painting, coffee-paste textured canvas art, tote bag splatter painting, and still life coffee painting.

To create a seamless visitor experience, Tap2Pay by Baiduri Bank will serve as the official digital payment system, ensuring secure, cashless transactions. Baiduri will also engage customers through exclusive promotions and a Lucky Dip campaign for cardholders.

The BWN Coffee Convention is expected to attract over 5,000 visitors across three days, creating opportunities for local youth, boosting the economy and engaging the wider community in a unique cultural celebration.

“CoffeeCon is more than just a festival – it’s a platform for youth empowerment, SME growth, and regional collaboration. We’re proud to see Brunei’s coffee culture being celebrated on such a big stage, while also spotlighting our country as a vibrant lifestyle and tourism destination”, said Noor Hafizah Rashid, organiser of BWN Coffee Convention 2025.

This year’s CoffeeCon is made possible through the invaluable support of its official partners: the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (KKBS) as Official Partner, Baiduri Bank as Official Digital Payment Partner with Tap2Pay,  BJAUR as Marketing Partner, The Bruneian News as Official Media Partner, Kristal FM as Official Broadcast Partner, and AirAsia as Official Flight Partner.
