DEEPAL, a smart new-energy vehicle brand under the Changan Automobile Group, has entered the Bruneian market with the launch of two advanced models, the DEEPAL S05 and DEEPAL S07.
Distributed locally by Best Auto Sdn Bhd, the debut marks a significant step in expanding Brunei’s new-energy vehicle landscape, introducing intelligent mobility solutions that blend cutting-edge technology, efficiency, and modern design.

The launch event showcased both the DEEPAL S05 and S07, drawing attention with their sleek styling, high-tech interiors and forward-looking performance capabilities, reflecting DEEPAL’s vision for future-ready transportation.
A key highlight of the launch was the DEEPAL S05, which became Brunei’s first Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV). Designed to offer the best of both electric and extended-range driving, the S05 provides a total range of up to 1,170 km, delivering everyday electric convenience without range anxiety.
It is powered by a 27.28 kWh battery paired with a 1.5-litre hybrid-specific engine, producing 218 hp and 320 Nm of torque, along with a pure electric range of up to 170 km, making it ideal for both daily commutes and long-distance travel.
Alongside it, the all-electric DEEPAL S07 represents the brand’s premium EV offering. Built on the EPA1 all-electric digital platform, the S07 delivers 215 hp and 320 Nm of torque, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, and offers a driving range of up to 570 km from its 79.97 kWh battery.
The model pairs a futuristic exterior design with a spacious, technology-driven interior, creating a refined and engaging driving experience.
Both models are equipped with 16 advanced ADAS safety systems and have achieved five-star Euro NCAP safety ratings, reinforcing DEEPAL’s strong focus on safety and driver confidence.
Ownership is further enhanced through DEEPAL Care, which includes a six-year vehicle warranty and an eight-year battery warranty, providing long-term peace of mind for customers.
