Ak Ahmad Azka Pg Abdul Razak walked away with a brand-new Lexus LBX just weeks after purchasing his own Lexus NX350h in January.
The 26-year-old, who recently completed his studies abroad and now works as a medical doctor at RIPAS Hospital, was crowned the Grand Prize Winner at the “Win An LBX” Grand Lucky Draw ceremony held at the Lexus Showroom in Gadong.
Sharing his surprise at the win, Ak Ahmad Azka said he had only bought his first car in January and never imagined he would win a lucky draw.
“I bought my car last month and just received it last week. I did not expect to win at all and I am very happy although I was very anxious” he said, adding that he plans to gift the LBX to his parents.
He continued that he has always been fond of driving a big car, which is why he chose an SUV.
The month-long promotion, which ran from 1 January to 31 January 2026, rewarded customers who purchased any Lexus model across the full range with a chance to win the Lexus LBX, alongside cash vouchers of up to $5,000.
All eligible purchases were automatically entered into the draw, building anticipation throughout January before six finalists were selected during a live pre-draw session on Lexus Brunei’s official Instagram on 6 February 2026.
The Grand Draw event saw the six finalists progress through three rounds of challenges to determine the winner. In the first round, four finalists advanced while Lim Kian Chuang and Lim Qian Yan received $1,000 and $2,000 cash vouchers respectively, presented by the Head of Lexus Brunei, Vanessa Ang.
The second round featured a box reveal challenge, where two finalists moved on to the final stage. The remaining two finalists, Munusamy Venugopal Khanan and Ak Mohammad Yazid Pg DP Mohd Yussof, were awarded $3,000 and $4,000 cash vouchers respectively, also presented by Vanessa Ang.
The final round culminated in a Key Select challenge, where the two remaining finalists took turns selecting the correct key from a pool of six Lexus LBX keys.
Ak Ahmad Azka successfully unlocked the vehicle, securing the grand prize. The runner-up, Samihan Haji Mohamed, received a $5,000 cash voucher. Prizes were presented by the Vice President of Inchcape Brunei, Muhammad Clovien Abdullah Timpoh.
The campaign reflects Lexus Brunei’s appreciation for its customers and its commitment to delivering rewarding ownership experiences. Following the success of the January promotion, Lexus Brunei has introduced the “Win Another LBX” campaign in February 2026, offering customers another opportunity to win a brand-new Lexus LBX or cash vouchers totalling up to $25,000.
