Maju Motors Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of BYD (Build Your Dreams) and Denza vehicles in Brunei Darussalam, recently organised a community giveaway of 1,500 free food packets prepared by renowned chef Chef Ammar in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan.
Held at the BYD and Denza showroom in Telanai, members of the public registered for tickets in the morning before returning in the afternoon to collect the complimentary meals.
The meals were prepared by Chef Ammar, who is known for his Middle Eastern cuisine and signature dishes inspired by traditional Arabian flavours.
The initiative was organised in collaboration with KWB Sdn Bhd and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf as part of efforts to give back to the community during Ramadan.
The giveaway also allowed members of the public who were unable to attend the recent “1001 Mystical Arabian Nights” dining event to experience Chef Ammar’s cooking.
Each food packet reflected the same spirit shared during the event, bringing people together and encouraging acts of kindness through the sharing of food.
The initiative also highlights Maju Motors’ commitment to community engagement and social responsibility in Brunei Darussalam.
Chef Ammar expressed hope that the meals would bring joy to those who received them and help spread the spirit of generosity during Ramadan. He also thanked Maju Motors for the opportunity to be part of the community initiative.
