Takaful Brunei awarded $12,000 worth of cash prizes to 10 lucky winners for their Takaful Brunei Mobile One Year Anniversary lucky draw promotion for the month of July which saw Sheikh Adam Sheikh Jamaluddin bringing home the $5,000 first prize.
In an interview with The Bruneian, Sheikh Adam shared how he was caught off guard after being named the first prize winner, with the 31-year-old fully expecting to only win the $500 cash prize designated to the fourth to tenth winners.
“It’s made my day, I was not expecting to be one of the 10 (lucky winners), I came just expecting to get the $500 prize but as each winner was called upfront, and it got closer and closer to the final prize, I was shocked to hear my name, it was a good feeling,” he said.
Sheikh Adam, who is an officer for the Australian High Commissioner in Brunei Darussalam, added how he was initially unaware of the Takaful Brunei Mobile App, only knowing of its existence after a visit to Takaful Brunei’s Beribi Branch looking to purchase the Golfer’s Takaful.
“I was directed towards the Takaful Brunei Mobile App, they told me that I could get a discount if I bought the insurance through the app, and it was a good discount, so that was the entry that got me here. I am very thankful for Takaful Brunei to host this event,” he added.
The prizes were presented by Takaful Brunei Keluarga Assistant Chief Operation Officer, Haji Maszaiwardy Haji Masri.
The Takaful Brunei Mobile One Year Anniversary lucky draw promotion will run until 31 December 2021.
The promotion will also be giving away a Grand Prize for a brand new Hi-Spec Toyota Cross in January 2022.
This is in addition to the $5,000 cash prize and other cash prizes up for grabs from July 2021 to December 2021.
To be eligible, customers must participate in any Takaful products via the Takaful Brunei Mobile App with a minimum contribution of $50 during the promotional period.
The promotion is available to Takaful Brunei Mobile users who participate in any TBA & TBK products via the Takaful Brunei Mobile application with a minimum contribution of $50.
The Takaful Brunei Mobile’s One Year Anniversary promotion is also extended to new or renewal participants of TBA’s Motor Takaful participants through the TBA Call Centre at 224 4000.
