FABD ends directors term, national team head coach to remote train

The Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) and two of her expatriate directors have reached a mutual understanding on their term of employment with the association.

Following that, its Technical Director Sivaji Narayanan Nair and the Referee Director Abdul Razak Anuar,  had agreed to relinquish their respective posts and ended their present contract with FABD.

It was a difficult decision for FABD as both have served with distinction since June 2020. Under the mutually-agreed term, their contract ended on 30 August 2021.

In recognising their contribution, FABD expressed her gratitude for their short but impactful service and sad to see them leave in an untimely manner.

Under a separate agreement with Datuk K. Rajagobal, both parties have agreed to allow Datuk K. Rajagobal to return to his home country this month.

Rajagobal will still be the national team head coach and has expressed his willingness to train the team remotely under the new norms.

FABD would also like to express appreciation to Datuk K Rajagobal for his valuable support and understanding on the current situation.

FABD wishes the three of them well and remain safe in this challenging time.
