Progresif has provided internet connectivity at 11 isolation facilities and volunteering centres across the country via its Enterprise Wi-Fi Solutions.
Progresif’s Enterprise Solutions together with UNN have worked alongside Ministry of Health, National Disaster Monitoring Centre (NDMC), Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) in the previous month, accommodating these centres with data and WiFi coverage.
In addition to that, the team has also managed to roll out their internet services to the National Service Programme (PKBN) Training Camp in Temburong, Rimba Arabic Secondary School and Katok Arabic School.
The initiative will help support the frontliners that rely on internet connectivity especially with the need to stay connected and ensuring the efficient running of operations.
Moreover, it will also accommodate the frontliners and inbound patients to support their communication needs and boost their morale despite the challenges of the pandemic
“We are pleased to have been entrusted and recognized to implement these significant projects and we look forward to supporting the Ministries with their on-going internet connectivity projects in the future,” said Progresif Chief Sales Office of Progresif, Junaidi Bahrum.
On his part, UNN Senior Manager of Network Service Buharie Amath said that it is the service provider’s prerogative to provide the support, especially to the Ministry of Health in fighting against COVID-19 by meeting with the requirements of these projects swiftly.
“We expect these sites to expand and requirements to evolve so we shall continue to cater to this, no matter what the challenges may be.” he said. – Azrina Zin
