Boustead reveals latest SUV Nissan Terra

Boustead recently launched an exclusive first-look of the all-new fresh-faced and powerful Nissan Terra, a seven-seater SUV that is built with premium new design and dynamic driving capabilities.

The sole distributor of Nissan is introducing two variants of the Nissan Terra: 2WD High grade and 4WD Premium grade.

According to Nissan Assistant Sales Manager, Hj Shahrum Hj Jaafar, the first generation of the Nissan Terra was launched back in January 2019 and has received a very good response from the local market for its best-in-class engine performance.

“Not just being a spacious car but Nissan Terra also provides comfort while driving with its zero-gravity seats and multi-link suspension that produces a smoother yet safer ride.” he further added.

A Premium and Bold exterior

Make a statement with the all-new Nissan Terra. The seven-seater exudes confidence and presence with its bold and premium design language that would certainly turn heads anywhere it goes.

The all-new Nissan is most definitely captivating to look at. The Japanese automaker has taken Terra’s DNA and upgraded it. The SUV is expected to excite the market with its impressive new design that blends sportiness and refinement.

Appealing from every angle with its fresh new look, the SUV adopts a refined aesthetic with sculpted body forms and sporty contours for an athletic and striking appearance.

This striking appearance is further emphasised by its dominating V-Motion grille and sharp 4 LED Projector headlights with a C-Shaped LED signature light giving the Terra a bolder and domineering look.

During the launch, Boustead introduced the beauty in stunning Red, White and Black colours. Not only that, but the SUV is also available in 2 other colour options including Silver and Grey.

Comfort all around

Inside the cabin, Nissan Terra has been designed to provide equal comfort and space whether you are sitting at the front or rear.

Once seated in the seven-seater, the cabin makes all the occupants feel right at home. The Japanese brand has put emphasis on comfort at every stage; the seats are softly are smartly contoured, offering good support and cushioning.

A popular feature of Nissan Terra that is available for both variants is the auto-tumble seats where second-row seats could automatically tumble with just one-button access.

Moreover, the wheelbase of 2,850, gives the Terra a more comfortable stance on the road providing it with a more spacious interior.

Another notable highlight is the minimalist central control design that features an intuitive, easy-to-use infotainment system that comes with a USB, AUX and Bluetooth where you can conveniently plug in your mobile devices and access your music and phone calls.

On the Premium variant, the interior is fitted with natural leather seats combined with a Bose premium sound system of 8-high performance speakers throughout the whole vehicle.

Not only that, but the Terra premium also comes with an 11-inch flip-down entertainment monitor that makes every journey become more enjoyable and wireless smartphone charging that is as simple as placing your phone on the charging pad.

The 7-seater comes with ANCAP’s maximum five-star safety rating equipped with innovative and safety functions which offer the ultimate confidence and maximum comfort in all journeys.

All variants come with an all-around six SRS airbag system, 3-point Seat Belt with Pre-Tensioner and Load Limiter Key Immobilizer, ISOFIX, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Anti-lock Braking System, Brake Assist, among others.

Whereas the Premium variant comes with an Around View Monitor, a monitor that provides a virtual 360-degree scene of the car in bird’s-eye view, Moving Object Detection, Hill Descent Control, Rear Differential Lock and more/

One of their highlighted safety features is the Hill Start Assist which helps to manage steep inclines and hill ascents, preventing the car from rolling backwards.

The technology helps to hold pressure on the brake for a few seconds, providing enough time for the driver to switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator.

In terms of performance, the new Nissan Terra is powered with a 2.5L Turbocharged Diesel Engine with a maximum power of 188HP and a maximum torque of 450Nm, which gives the best acceleration performance, with a smooth yet powerful drive.

Moreover, the platform elevates the driving performance and comfort beyond expectations, the all-new Terra impressive handling with greater agility, stability and visibility.
