Standard Chartered Securities shares 2022 outlook with clients

Standard Chartered Securities Brunei hosted a virtual Market Outlook webinar on Friday for more than 200 valued clients of the Bank.

Senior Investment Counsellor at Standard Chartered Brunei Hazwan Kamarulzaman was joined by Senior Investment Strategist at Standard Chartered Singapore Abhilash Narayan and Senior Channel Sales Manager of Allianz Global Investors Singapore Winnie Tan in an interactive fireside chat to address key questions from the audience.

The panelists also shared the market outlook and gave insights on the key asset classes for the year 2022.

CEO of Standard Chartered Securities Brenda Low in a statement said that the beginning of a new year always brings about the hope of a new and fresh start.

“And while we want to be optimistic, we also want to maintain caution by ensuring that our clients gain the best insights available to make sound financial decisions for the long term,” she said.

She added that it is crucial to understand long-term goals and maintain a well-diversified portfolio to navigate any twists and turns on the path to normality.
