The Ministry of Health recently added two new features to the BruHealth application – Recovery Certificate and ART Feature with QR Code , commencing 24 March 2022.
This latest development was announced by Minister of Health Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohd Isham Hj Jaafar at a press briefing.
The Recovery Certificate is specifically for former COVID-19 cases to confirm that they have completed their quarantine and have recovered from the COVID-19 infection.
“This certificate is an official digital certificate which is a new feature in the BruHealth application that can be downloaded to be printed as a hardcopy if required by any party who requires official proof of recovery from the Ministry of Health,” said the minister.
Meanwhile, the ART Feature with QR Code has been updated to integrate the scannable QR Code on ART kits supplied by the Ministry of Health.
The purpose of the QR Code scan is to ensure that the ART kit used is unique and not used repeatedly by any party, especially for COVID-19 patients who receive the care package; civil servants; guests for official government events; and inbound travellers.
However, the ART feature can still be used to submit ART reports that do not have a QR Code.
“Let us pray to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala so that Brunei Darussalam will continue to be protected and safeguarded from all harms and may all the citizens and residents be given health, eased with all matters and evaded from all diseases especially the COVID-19 infection. Aamiin Aamiin Ya Rabbalalamin,” concluded YB Dato Dr Hj Mohd Isham.
