Kia Brunei unveils new showroom

Kia Brunei recently unveiled its state-of-the-art showroom incorporating the brand’s latest design philosophy.

The new showroom pioneers the Korean brand’s new purpose and strategy, “Movement Inspires”, leading the way towards the future.

With the introduction of Kia’s brand identity and strategy, the new showroom is inspired by the Korean automaker’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy.

At the centre of the design philosophy is a new visual identity evoking positive forces and natural energy, with contrasting combinations of sharp stylistic elements and sculptural shapes.

The ‘Opposites United’ philosophy is based on five key design principles: ‘Bold for Nature’, ‘Joy for Reason’, ‘Power to Progress’, ‘Technology for Life’, and ‘Tension for Serenity’.

The stunning 751.9 sq m facility is fully dedicated to provide an inviting and premium atmosphere for both current and prospective customers who are passionate about the Korean brand.

Once inside, customers are greeted to a modern showroom that is split into two spaces: the display area and a customer area, each with a different theme and colour scheme.

At the customer area, the showroom incorporates natural earthy tones and wooden materials creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

However, the display area of the new showroom is infused with cool and metallic tones giving it a more futuristic and modern look.

Moreover, the red lighting that divides the two spaces, expresses the energy that connects and contrasts the two.

Not only does the new facility focus on the look and feel but it also emphasizes on the importance of customer care so that customers can enjoy an enhanced premium experience.

“Back in 1996, our Kia showroom was a modest, shared space that featured models that were at that time, only beginning to make their mark in the global automotive marketplace,” said Managing Director of Grand Motors, Frankie Ho in his welcoming speech.

“Over the last 26 years, we have seen how Kia has grown to become a world leader not only in vehicle design, but also in quality, reliability, and technological innovation. And Kia’s consistent Top 5 standing in the local market, even becoming the market leader in terms of sales at one point, only shows how the brand is fully trusted and accepted in Brunei, and indeed the rest of the world,” he added.

“As a shining symbol of Grand Motors’ commitment to the brand and to the people of Brunei, our Kia showroom will be a source of inspiration for our loyal customers,” he further added.

Commenting on the new showroom, president of Kia Asia-Pacific region, Ted Lee said that the transformation is a part of the new corporate logo and global brand slogan, that is, “Movement that Inspires”

“Our (Kia) new showroom identity which is exactly applied in this very showroom in front of you, is not just a change in the exterior design from the old one, but also a strong communication message to our customers that is saying “movement that inspires” itself,” he said.

The debut of the all-new Sportage

Grand Motors also recently revealed the all-new and refreshed version of the all-new Kia Sportage at their new showroom

The Kia Sportage latest addition caught the public attention with its sleeker and ultra-modern design, above-and-beyond efforts everywhere you look and the wealth of modern technology.

The exclusive distributor of Kia is bringing in three variants of the Sportage into the local market; the LX, EX and the X-Line trim to suit your lifestyle and needs.

The all-new Sportage symbolizes the pioneering DNA of the Kia brand. The past success of the Sportage is deeply rooted in a mindset of constant reinvention. Under the new Kia brand, a fifth generation Sportage once again brings an innovation that elevates the brand to the next level.
