Toyota Brunei reveals its all-new Land Cruiser 300 (LC 300), a true flagship SUV that combines the automotive brand’s renowned reputation for Quality, Durability and Reliability (QDR) together with improved off-road performance and on-road capability.

The GA-F platform features a lower center of gravity with a weight reduction of approximately 200 kg when compared to its predecessor, and body rigidity is also increased.
Moreover, the new GA-F platform has been adopted in pursuit of on-road and off-road driving performance.
The new LC300 also inherits the golden ratio of a 2,850 mm wheelbase, which has been inherited across generations and provides both high-level performances on rough terrain and a spacious interior.

Under the hood, the all-new LC 300 boasts a V6 3.3L Twin-turbo Diesel Engine with a 10-Speed Automatic transmission and 3 drive modes of Normal, Eco and Sport.
The 3.3-liter V6 twin-turbo Diesel engine delivers a maximum output of 225 kW and maximum torque of 700 Nm.
When it comes to safety, the Japanese automaker is ahead of the game.

As for performance, the all-new LC 300 packs more power and driving capability.
The Bruneian team had a chance to test out the V6 3.3L Twin-turbo Diesel Engine that delivers raw performance and power for our long drive from the Toyota Showroom in Gadong to Temburong and Tutong.
We spent our time in the busy area Gadong moving along effortlessly with the cars around us turning heads.
Moreover, along with the twist and turns of the tight roads from the city to the Temburong, the responsive steering and handling are good and there was minimal body roll.
The 5-seater also boasts optimal road performance and road-holding capabilities throughout the drive. It was perfectly stable and planted to the ground which inspired confidence from behind the wheel.
Adding to that, the SUV also maintains its confidence and control over potholes and puddles.
However, it was at the long winding road of the Tutong highway where we got to test out the true prowess of the V6 3.3L Twin-turbo Diesel Engine.
Other than that, the wide range of advanced driver assistance and safety features on the LC 300 was a great help and certainly made our driving easier and safer.
When we drove along the Seri Kenangan Beach in Tutong, the Multi-terrain 360 off-road camera helped us see where the tires were going and kept logs and rocks away from the LC 300.
Moreover, the cabin was also exceptionally quiet and tranquil with the muted road, wind, and traffic noise.
No matter where you sit, the five-seater boasts comfort and premium comfort for both driver and passenger.
Nonetheless, the SUV is no doubt a good choice for long-distance traveling.
