Lovers of rotisserie roasted chicken rejoice because the award-winning international franchise, Kenny Rogers Roasters is finally back in Brunei!
Located at the Mid Valley Shopping Centre in Jalan Masjid Salambigar, Kenny Rogers Roasters has returned to the sultanate with a new look, a new menu and a new taste that will surely tantalize your tastebuds like never before.
An opening ceremony was held last week at their flagship outlet where the franchise’s much anticipated return was celebrated with a traditional chicken cutting ceremony officiated by the guest of honour, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Dato’ Raja Reza Raja Zaib Shah and Manager of Business Development and Marketing for Kenny Rogers Roasters International, Syaffiq Ali.
Speaking during the event, Syaffiq said that Brunei Darussalam marks the sixth country in Kenny Rogers Roasters’ International expansion however he noted that this was not the franchise’s first foray into the Bruneian market.
“Today, Kenny Rogers Roasters is proudly roasting in Brunei! But did you know that this would mark our second entry into the market? We are pleased that many are already familiar with good brand recognition, especially for our rotisserie roasted chicken,” he said.
“We believe with the right strategic partner, KRRB (Kenny Rogers Roasters Brunei) will excel and gradually grow in due time,” he added.
Syaffiq then commended the efforts of the Kenny Rogers Roasters Brunei team as well as the local community for the support that has been shown adding: “While these past few weeks have especially been tumultuous for the team, they have organically grabbed many people’s attention with a solid and steady following of 2,500”.
High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Dato’ Raja Reza Raja Zaib Shah also spoke during the event, expressing his fondness for the franchise.
“Back in Malaysia, Kenny Rogers Roasters has always been my favourite,” he said.
“Now I am very pleased to see it make a comeback to Brunei, furthering the close friendship and partnership between two friendly neighbours – Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia,” he added.

With its new menu and new taste, Kenny Rogers Roasters now offers the Nasi Lemak OMG which is Nasi Lemak that is without coconut milk or santan, that is accompanied with crispy, yet unfried, juicy chicken that is deliciously healthy and definitely a crowd pleaser.
Not to be missed on the menu is the franchise’s Signature Roasted Chicken meals! Glazed with flavourful and savoury sauces, these succulent meals also come with a variety of side dishes to choose from, making sure that your dining experience will be an exciting one!
