Brunei recorded 517 new recovered cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, announced the Ministry of Health in an infographic.
To date, the country has recorded a total of 237,809 recoveries.
Meanwhile, there are three cases in Category 4 which are those who have been admitted for close monitoring and require the aid of oxygen assistance.
Moreover, there are no cases in Category 5 which is for those who require treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
COVID-19 vaccination status
The Ministry of Health also shared 86.3 per cent of children aged 5 to 11 years old have received their second vaccination.
Whereas, 61.7 per cent of children aged 12 to 17 years old have received their third dose of vaccine.
Meanwhile, the coverage rate for the country’s citizens and residents who have received three doses of the vaccine is 78.6 per cent.
Whereas, 10.9 per cent of the general population have received their fourth dose of vaccine.
