Ten lucky participants walked home with cash prizes last Sunday as part of Takaful Brunei’s fifth SANANG2 MANANG lucky draw campaign held at the atrium of The Mall, Gadong.
Winning the grand prize of $15,000 was Noorul Aqilah Roslan, followed by second and third-place winners, Chahaya Salleh and Pg Hj Japri Pg Hj Besar, who took home $6,000 and $2,000 respectively.
Meanwhile, the remaining winners also walked home lucky with a cash prize of $1,000 each.
First-place winner Noorul Aqilah said she was surprised and did not expect to win the grand prize.
“Alhamdulillah for this rezeki, I am very happy and (this was) only from buying insurance from the Takaful Brunei application for travel to Miri and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.”
“I used the application because I believe it is easier and especially if there is a last-minute trip, I can just apply for one on the spot and would get my insurance immediately.”
Aqilah said the application is very convenient for users, without the hassle of going to a counter.
When asked what she would do with the winnings, Noorul Aqilah shared that she would be donating a portion to charity first before settling any bills and spending on personal items.
The lucky draw prizes were presented by Takaful Brunei Am (TBA)’s Deputy Chief Business Operations Officer, Hj Md Fuad Pehin Dato Hj Salim.
The campaign winners are those who bought TBA and TBK products using the Takaful Brunei Mobile application including new participation and renewals through TBA’s Motor Takaful made through the TBA call centre from 1 January 2022 to 31 October 2022.
Members of the public have a chance to win various other prizes every two months as the campaign is giving out prizes throughout the year worth over $250,000 for registrations and product participation, from 1 January 2022 until 31 December 2022.
“Takaful Brunei encourages customers to take advantage of Takaful Brunei Mobile’s fully digital transactions for any renewals or new takaful participations,” read a statement.
Customers planning to switch from the current car insurance or takaful provider to TBA’s Motor Takaful will also have the convenience to do so while enjoying comprehensive coverage with discounts.
The Takaful Brunei Mobile app currently has a Takaful Product of The Month promotion from 1 November to 30 November 2022.
This means customers who participate in TBA’s Comprehensive Home Package Takaful through the application will stand a chance to win a cash prize of $500.
