Brunei recorded 492 new recovered cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, announced the Ministry of Health in an infographic.
To date, the country has recorded a total of 258,516 recoveries.
Meanwhile, no case under Category 4 has been admitted for close monitoring and requires the aid of oxygen assistance.
Moreover, two cases in Category 5 requires treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
COVID-19 vaccination status
The Ministry of Health also shared 86.9 per cent of children aged 5 to 11 years old have received their second vaccination.
Whereas, 62.2 per cent of children aged 12 to 17 years old have received their third dose of vaccine.
Meanwhile, the coverage rate for the country’s citizens and residents who have received three doses of the vaccine is 78.9 per cent.
Whereas, 11.3 per cent of the general population have received their fourth dose of vaccine.
