His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni
Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam recently had a meeting with His Majesty King Charles III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
During the meeting that was held at Oak Room, Windsor Castle, United Kingdom, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Majesty the King, among other things, touched on matters to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields between Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom including the welfare and well-being of citizens, alongside the opportunity for Their Majesties to further strengthen the bond and friendship between the Royal Families of both countries.
This marks the first formal meeting between His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Majesty King Charles III since His Majesty the King succeeded the Throne on 8th September 2022.
