During our journey from the Renault Showroom at Telanai to the buzzing Berakas road, the Kiger provides a surprisingly fun and solid drive throughout.
The SUV pairs powerful and sturdy with a smooth ride. Its 1.0 Litre petrol engine mated to an X-Tronic CVT produces ample power for most driving situations.
Moreover, along the tight curve of the airport roundabout, minimal body roll and safety do not feel compromised on every twist and turn.
Adding to that, the Kiger also maintains its confidence and control over potholes and puddles.
It’s responsive to throttle input and feels very light and nimble, making it easy to squeeze in tight spaces.
From the driver’s seat, the seat strikes a good balance between comfort and support making the drive back from the busy traffic along the Serusop a pleasant and stable ride.
