RHB Bank Brunei recently hosted a Chinese New Year open house at the Parkview Hotel, Jerudong for some 200 guests.
The annual tradition returned after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, celebrating the year of the rabbit with clients, solicitors, friends and other stakeholders.
RHB Country Head of Brunei Operations Haji Ishak Othman in an interview said that it is because of their support, the bank has made its presence in the sultanate more visible.
He added that RHB Brunei has grown so much since its establishment in 1965, with the relocation of its branch from the capital to a bigger space in Kiarong.
“We have gained more manpower and managed to get good numbers. On behalf of RHB Group, I would like to say that our aims are very clear and continue to be here to support the government and its aspiration in developing the country. hopefully, our contributions can help one way or another,” said Haji Ishak.
He also added that RHB Brunei has several plans in the pipeline and one of their goals is towards achieving digitalisation of banking.
