Local food delivery service platform, GoMamam has expanded its repertoire to include retail and pharmaceuticals with the release of its new and improved mobile application, with updated features that promise to deliver convenience, accessibility and customisation.
The new features and updates were made available to the public on 28 February however GoMamam officiated the new release with a launch event last week held at the 118 Residence in Kg Kiulap.
During his welcoming remarks, GoMamam CEO, Hadi Wahab recounted the company’s humble beginnings in February 2020 when the app only featured four merchants.

Three years later, however, that number blossomed to more than 500 restaurants and the platform has evolved beyond food delivery, with the platform’s latest iteration featuring two new categories including retail and pharmaceuticals.
“Our team of home-grown Bruneian talent, which started with 10 dispatchers and office staff, has steadily grown over the short few years to more than 1,000 dispatchers and 45 office staff,” he said.
In light of all these milestones, GoMamam will continue to seek advancements in the near future, according to the CEO, hoping that in the long-term, GoMamam can play an integral part in Brunei Darussalam’s Digital Economy.
“We at GoMamam, are dedicated to providing opportunities for stable employment and skills development to our locals in this evergrowing tech sector,” he continued.

Hadi then went on to express GoMamam’s commitment in contributing to the Brunei Vision 2025 by being a key player in the development of economic opportunities within the landscape of IR 4.0.

GoMamam is currently one of the top food delivery apps among Bruneian residents, with over 100,000 registered users and over 1,000 daily orders.
Present as the Guest of Honour at the event was Hj Mohammad Nazri Hj Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunication and Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary (Sports) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

GoMamam 2.0 features and updates
According to a press statement by GoMamam, the app now boasts a brand new interface with a streamlined design which allows for quicker and easier navigation.
“With a newly added ‘Favourites’ feature, users can reorder their favourite meals and past orders with a click of a button, and skip lines in restaurants with the app’s new ‘Pick-up’ feature,” they said.
Additionally, the latest version of the mobile app-based platform will allow customers to collect and redeem points through the app’s new e-wallet and point systems as well as exciting upcoming features that are still in development.
The food delivery app has now expanded its delivery services to include the new GoRetail and GoPharma, alongside the app’s other existing modules including Groceries, introduced in 2020 and GoElectronics, introduced in 2022.

The GoRetail provides customers with a wide range of products including fashion apparel and accessories, car accessories and care products, electronics, and hijabs, all in one platform.
Meanwhile, GoPharma is the platform’s new delivery service for pharmaceutical items aimed at providing convenience for users to purchase over-the-counter products; such as vitamins, supplements and other health-related items from their phones.
