ICVRS: Enhancing data accuracy and efficiency through digitalisation

Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) recently held the In-Country Value Reporting System (ICVRS) launch event at the Brunei Shell Recreational Center (BSRC).

In her welcoming remarks, Head Supply Chain Management of BSP Noreliza Omar emphasised BSP’s drive for efficient and accurate solutions.

“It is part of our commitment to continually provide systems and solutions that move towards our collective growth and success in our industry and the nation,” she said.

The ICVRS is a central repository platform that enables BSJV business partners to manage and submit their quarterly Local Business Development (LBD) data, such as Local Employment, Local Content and Local Recruitment.

It aims to solve several reporting challenges such as delays or lapses in data collection, and fragmented sources of information, and to ease reporting through automation of management of data that was previously manually collected and consolidated. Business partners will benefit from carrying out real-time updates with a streamlined reporting process that enables faster processing times.

The launch of ICVRS is a testament to BSP’s efforts to support the development of local businesses and the Bruneian community while utilising digitalisation to increase efficiency and ease of regulatory reporting.

Present as the Guest of Honour was Finance Director of BSP Haji Mohammad Zulazrin Haji Awang Mohidin.
