Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has been awarded the ‘Muslim-Friendly Airline of The Year’ at the Halal In Travel Awards in Singapore recently.
The Halal In Travel Awards event was organised by Crescent Rating and Halal Trip as part of the 4th Halal In Travel Global Summit.
The annual event acknowledges the remarkable achievements and innovations in the Muslim-friendly travel sector. The awards underscore the global impact of destinations, service providers, and marketing campaigns that have exhibited exceptional dedication to meeting the evolving needs of the Muslim travel market.
In his remarks, RB Chief Executive Officer Captain Sabirin Hj Abd Hamid said that the award proved the airline’s dedication and commitment to ensure products on-board are Halal and Muslim-friendly.
“We will continue to strive for success as we move forward in technological transformation to enhance our passengers experience across our services truly to our Bruneian values and identity. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the award organisers and our cherished passengers for their support and recognition,” he said.
The “Muslim-friendly Airline of the Year” title was first introduced this year and is part of the Muslim-friendly Service Provider Awards.
On hand to receive the award for RB was its Senior Vice President Guest Care, Nur Rita Syakirah Abdullah Kaur.
