Indonesian brand Acaraki, known for its modern twist jamu, recently made its debut in Brunei, showcasing jamu-making demonstrations at Rizqun International Hotel and Dil’s Café.
In an event in collaboration with local brand Nona Jo, they aimed to introduce ‘jamu new wave’, presenting the herbal drink not just as a traditional remedy but also as a trendy, health-boosting drink for everyone.

What makes Acaraki’s jamu special is that they use brewing techniques adapted from the coffee-making process, such as pour-over, manual espresso compressor, manual espresso flares, infusion French press, Aeropress, syphon, Moka pot, and cold drip.
Some of the brand’s signature drinks include Golden Sparkling, Jaman Batu, Temu Rene, and Ku Teja—all prepared by Acaraki’s baristas for guests to try during the showcase at the hotel and Dil’s Café.
For Acaraki, in its bid to preserve Indonesian culture, Acaraki aimed to reintroduce the value of herbal medicine into people’s lives.
