Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM) and Indera Motors Sdn Bhd signed an agreement to strengthen efforts to promote electric vehicle (EV) products and services in Brunei.
The collaboration will enable Indera Motors, the Jaguar and Land Rover distributor in Brunei, to offer customers EV charging solutions through the Shell Recharge programme.
The initiative supports the growing adoption of electric vehicles and highlights both companies’ dedication to environmentally friendly transportation alternatives.
In his remarks, BSM Managing Director Mohammed Alexirwan Haji Omar expressed enthusiasm to partner with Indera Motors in supporting the country’s shift toward electric mobility.
“This partnership enables us to offer convenient and accessible charging solutions for Jaguar and Land Rover EV owners,” he said.
He added: “At BSM, we believe in the strength of collaboration to drive innovation. We invite other dealerships to explore how Shell Recharge can enhance their customers’ experience and support the transition to electric mobility.”
On his part, Managing Director of Indera Motors Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Ghaffar Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib said that the auto dealer is thrilled to bring Jaguar Land Rover’s Reimagine vision to Brunei by empowering their clients with seamless EV solutions.

Through the Shell Recharge network, BSM remains committed to providing Brunei’s EV drivers with reliable and convenient charging options, whether at home, retail stations, or public charging points.
This partnership is designed to provide Jaguar and Land Rover customers with a complete solution for their EV charging needs.
The services offered include Home Charging Assessments: assessment and evaluation of charging set-ups for home EV chargers; supply of Advanced EV Chargers: high-performance chargers compatible with modern electric vehicle models; and Installation Services and Safety Compliance: professional installation that adheres to global safety standards, ensuring reliability and security for customers.
Furthermore, customers will gain access to existing and future Shell Recharge charging stations across Brunei, including the country’s first rapid charger, located at the IBA retail station in Lambak.
