Panaga Health receives accreditation for Clinical Laboratory Services

Panaga Health has been accredited with the ISO 15189:2022 award for its Clinical Laboratory Services, following rigorous preparation and an accreditation survey by the Philippine Accreditation Bureau (PAB).

The recognition, officially granted on 14 October 2024, demonstrates Panaga Health’s compliance with international health standards in medical laboratory testing.

It positions the health centre alongside other leading clinical laboratories in Brunei Darussalam, which have also been accredited with the ISO15189:2022 award, and demonstrates its commitment to quality and excellence.

The journey to achieving this ISO 15189:2022 accreditation took three years of rigorous processes involving extensive research, strategic planning, and a complete overhaul of the Clinical Laboratory’s Quality Management System.

During the accreditation survey, the Philippine Accreditation Bureau’s expert surveyors evaluated the Clinical Laboratory’s adherence to essential quality elements including management, safety, technical processes, resources, competency, and facilities, ensuring the laboratory facility meets the highest benchmarks in medical testing.

With the ISO 15189:2022 accreditation, Panaga Health’s Clinical Laboratory Services has developed and implemented a comprehensive Quality Management Standard across the laboratory and established a culture of continuous improvement and accountability that enhances the accuracy and reliability of its testing processes, focussing on quality and patient safety.
