BIBD marked the first quarterly prize presentation ceremony for the BIBD Aspirasi 7 campaign with a special Hari Raya edition that brought a festive spirit to the occasion.
In line with the season of celebration and giving, a team from BIBD led by Head of Retail Banking, Junaidi bin Bahrum, visited the homes of selected winners residing in the Brunei Muara district to hand over their prizes personally.
The home visits were made to quarterly prize winners, each receiving B$10,000, as well as monthly winners who took home B$1,000 each. The gesture added a personal and festive touch to the occasion while also celebrating the winners’ commitment to saving through BIBD Aspirasi.
Now in its seventh cycle, the BIBD Aspirasi campaign continues to promote the importance and discipline of saving among Bruneians. Designed as a savings program with a difference, BIBD Aspirasi rewards savers by giving them the chance to win cash prizes, which can further support their financial goals and aspirations.
For this year’s campaign, BIBD has removed the B$5 sign-up fee for new participants, making it easier and more accessible for everyone to start their savings journey. This reflects BIBD’s commitment to financial inclusion, helping more individuals take control of their finances and plan for the future.
As with previous editions, existing Aspirasi participants were automatically rolled over into the new campaign, ensuring continuous eligibility for rewards while encouraging long-term saving behaviours.
Aspirasi’s unique rewards-based structure allows selected participants to walk away with substantial cash prizes throughout the year—prizes that can serve as a boost toward achieving personal and financial aspirations.
By incentivising saving in an engaging and inclusive way, BIBD Aspirasi is aligned with national efforts to foster financial literacy and promote financial well-being among Bruneians. The program continues to support the nation’s broader goals under Brunei Vision 2035 and the BDCB Financial Sector Blueprint while reaffirming BIBD’s role as a Partner in Progress for the country.
BIBD extends its congratulations to all winners. BIBD Aspirasi 7 will continue throughout the year, offering more opportunities for participants to be rewarded simply for saving.
