A celebration of Brunei Darussalam’s rich natural heritage will unfold this May through Whispers of the Wild: Brunei’s Nature, a duo art exhibition presented by Larvsh Concept and Kunyit 7 Lodge.
Featuring works by local artists Dk Kemariah binti Pg Duraman, also known as Kem Yeoh, and Noorfitriah Hafiizah binti Md Hassan, also known as Moi Sunnn, the exhibition will officially open on Saturday, 16 May 2026 at the Malay Technology Museum.
The exhibition brings together two distinct artistic approaches, united by a shared admiration for nature. Kem Yeoh presents detailed studies of birds and wildlife inspired by the landscapes of Borneo, carefully observing the anatomy, movement and spirit of each subject. Her works reflect patience, curiosity and a deep appreciation for the quiet wonders of the wild.

Complementing this perspective, Moi Sunnn showcases whimsical interpretations of Brunei’s flora and fauna through her signature pastel-toned visual language. Inspired by flowers found in Brunei, botanical forms and organic textures, her artworks transform natural elements into soft poetic compositions filled with warmth, imagination and nostalgia.

Together, the artists create a dialogue between observation and emotion, realism and dreamlike storytelling.
Hosted within the cultural setting of the Malay Technology Museum, the exhibition also aims to spark meaningful conversations surrounding Brunei’s biodiversity and the importance of preserving local natural heritage for future generations. Visitors can expect a calming and immersive atmosphere that bridges art, culture and environmental appreciation.

Whispers of the Wild serves as a visual dialogue between two of Brunei’s distinct artistic voices, united by a shared passion for the environment. The exhibition aims to foster a deeper appreciation for the nation’s rich ecosystems while raising awareness on the importance of biodiversity preservation.

Kem Yeoh brings her signature perspective to the canvas, capturing the intricate details and soul of the Borneo wilderness, while Moi Sunnn complements the narrative with vibrant interpretations of local flora and fauna, inviting viewers to reconnect with the natural world.
The public is invited to explore this immersive collection during its month-long residency at the museum. The exhibition will run from 16 May 2026 until 20 June 2026 at the Malay Technology Museum. The official opening will take place on 16 May 2026 at 1:30 PM.
The exhibition is organised by Larvsh Concept and Kunyit 7 Lodge, with support from Jabatan Muzium-muzium and Borneo Twitchers, and sponsorship from Pixel Event and Kitani Taste.
