Inchcape recently announced the incorporation of Imperial Motors Sdn Bhd, a new joint venture in Brunei, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the market and its strategy to build a diversified and scalable distribution platform across the Asia Pacific region.
Imperial Motors has been established to enhance Inchcape Brunei’s current operations and enable future distribution opportunities in Brunei, further strengthening its presence and capabilities in the local automotive sector.
Imperial Motors joins Inchcape Brunei’s portfolio of businesses alongside NBT Brunei, Bravo Auto, and Inchcape Services, collectively delivering an integrated automotive ecosystem in the market.
Commenting on the announcement, APAC CEO at Inchcape, Phil Jenkins said: “Imperial Motors represents an important step in strengthening our platform in Brunei. It reflects our strategy of building scalable, sustainable distribution businesses that create long-term value for partners and customers.”
President of Inchcape Brunei and Director of Strategy & Market Growth South Asia and Pacific Haji Ahmad said the incorporation of Imperial Motors further strengthens Inchcape Brunei’s portfolio and positions the company well to drive future growth and diversification.

Imperial Motors will, in due course, enhance the distribution of automotive brands in Brunei as part of Inchcape’s wider Asia Pacific portfolio.
