Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) recently welcomed 30 new cabin crew trainees under Cabin Crew Intake 151, marking the largest intake of recruits in the airline’s history.
The milestone reflects RB’s continued commitment to strengthening its workforce and investing in future talent as the national carrier continues to grow and evolve. The trainees were selected through a comprehensive and highly competitive recruitment process designed to identify individuals with strong potential to represent both the airline and Brunei Darussalam on the global stage.
To commemorate the occasion, RB hosted a special welcome session attended by Interim Chief Executive Officer, YM Puan Colonel Norsuriati binti Haji Sharbini, members of the Executive Management Team, trainees and their families.
The event highlighted the important role family support plays in the trainees’ professional journey while reinforcing the partnership between the airline, its employees and their loved ones.
In her remarks, YM Puan Colonel Norsuriati congratulated the new trainees and emphasised the significance of their role as future ambassadors of RB and Brunei Darussalam.
She highlighted the airline’s commitment to providing a structured two-year training programme focused on professionalism and service excellence, while upholding RB’s core values of safety, integrity and operational excellence.
She also expressed her hope that the latest intake would build on the achievements recognised by the World Travel Awards, underscoring RB’s commitment to delivering world-class service that reflects Bruneian values of hospitality, warmth and sincerity.
The onboarding programme includes a bonding agreement that reflects a mutual commitment between the airline and trainees, ensuring participants receive continuous development and support while contributing meaningfully to the organisation.
