From Chilli Crab and Nyonya Laksa to Tulang Merah and Singapore Rojak, food lovers can look forward to a feast of authentic Singaporean flavours as the much-anticipated Singapore Food Festival 2026 officially opens at The Airport Restaurant by Anjung Saujana.
Running from June 11 to July 4, the festival features more than 70 dishes celebrating Singapore’s rich multicultural culinary heritage, alongside a special collaboration with iconic food brand Old Chang Kee.
The festival was officially launched on Wednesday by Yang Mulia Awang Haji Mohd Yusree bin Haji Junaidi, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Chairman of Royal Brunei Culinary (RBC), together with His Excellency Yip Wei Kiat, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam.

Organised by RBC with the support of the Singapore High Commission in Bandar Seri Begawan and the Singapore Tourism Board, the annual event has grown into one of RBC’s flagship culinary promotions and a much-anticipated highlight of Brunei Darussalam’s gastronomic calendar.
Also in attendance were Terrence Voon, Executive Director for Southeast Asia at the Singapore Tourism Board, members of RBC’s Board of Directors, representatives from the Singapore High Commission and Singapore Tourism Board, Baiduri Bank Berhad, Old Chang Kee, RBC management and invited guests.

In his welcoming remarks, RBC General Manager Haji Jeff Hadiman bin Dato Paduka Haji Danial highlighted the significance of the annual festival, which is now in its 17th edition.
He said the event continues to celebrate Singapore’s vibrant multicultural food heritage while reflecting the strong and enduring ties between Brunei Darussalam and Singapore.
Speaking at the launch, High Commissioner Yip said food has always been an important part of both Singaporean and Bruneian culture.

“The Singapore Food Festival in Brunei is a celebration of our rich and diverse culinary heritage. From our hawker classics to Peranakan favourites, we have been sharing a taste of Singapore with our Bruneian friends through this annual festival. It reflects the warmth and closeness of our two countries,” he said.
Earlier this year, RBC showcased Bruneian cuisine in Singapore through the successful Taste of Brunei promotion at Royal Plaza on Scotts. Building on this spirit of culinary exchange, this year’s festival features a collaboration with Old Chang Kee, one of Singapore’s most iconic homegrown food brands.

Guests can look forward to the festival’s signature Singapore Dinner Buffet featuring more than 70 dishes, including Nyonya Laksa, Chilli Crab, Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice, Mee Rebus, Tulang Merah, Satay and Singapore Rojak, as well as a variety of traditional kuih and desserts.
The collaboration with Old Chang Kee includes a selection of the brand’s popular snacks and pastries such as its signature Curry Puff, Sardine Puff, Chilli Crab Puff and Black Sesame Balls.

As part of the festival experience, a dedicated section of The Airport Restaurant has been transformed with Singapore-inspired décor, festive elements and a themed Old Chang Kee stall, offering diners an immersive taste of Singapore’s culinary culture.
A special all-day à la carte menu will be available from Sunday to Thursday, from 7am to 9pm, while the Singapore Dinner Buffet will be served every Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 10pm. The buffet is priced at BND39.90 per adult and BND21.90 per child.

With the support of Baiduri Bank, cardholders can enjoy discounts of up to 30 per cent during the promotion. Diners will also stand a chance to win prizes through the festival’s Dine & Win campaign, including 30,000 Royal Skies Miles, a Samsonite luggage, an AirTag and a pair of return air tickets to Singapore.
RBC Dining Privilege cardholders are entitled to a 10 per cent discount throughout the promotion.
