The Jaguar XE has received a number of updates to its 2021 Model Year, delivering a more appealing, comprehensively equipped package including technological updates, new luxurious detailing and dynamic design.
The most significant change in the Jaguar XE comes on the outside as the minor exterior enhancements give the XE a lot more character.
World-class exterior design
The front fascia of the XE has been given a polarising new look with a revised bumper and a wider grille, delivering a more planted appearance.
Moreover, the enhanced grille features a new lattice mesh design with a fuller, curved profile; a visual cue shared with the Jaguar I-Pace underscoring the muscularity of the design
Whereas, the rear of the vehicle has also been upgraded with a new rear bumper and valance which enhances its visual width, while aiding aerodynamic performance.
Strong and lightweight. Jaguar has been at the forefront of aluminum car construction and it continues with the XE.
Designed around Jaguar’s modular vehicle architecture, the XE features recycled aluminum from closed-loop manufacturing for greater sustainability and is an important contribution towards Jaguar’s journey to Destination Zero, a world of zero emissions, zero accidents and zero congestion.
A luxury interior built around you
On the inside, the upscale cabin of the Jaguar XE is upgraded with premium-quality materials, luxurious touches, including an updated seat design.
A new split-rim steering wheel design further emphasises the attention to detail within the cabin.
The luxurious interior features beautiful details including an embossed Jaguar Leaper on the headrests and a new quilt design. Everything from the instrument panel topper and console sides to the door armrest and lower cabin are wrapped in tactile materials for improved comfort.
Latest connected technology
As far as technology goes, the Jaguar XE is rich in innovation. The XE comes equipped with upgraded technology and safety functions that offer the ultimate confidence and maximum comfort in all journeys.
Having been disconnected in previous versions, the XE is now more connected than ever with Jaguar’s latest state-of-the-art Pivi Pro infotainment system.
It can be accessed through the seamlessly integrated 10-inch central touchscreen, while the 5.5-inch lower touchscreen, also powered by the new Pivi technology, combines two multi-functional LED rotary controllers for intuitive operation of key vehicle functions.
Moreover, to help drivers access vital information quickly, the 12.3-inch HD Interactive Driver Display gets enhanced graphics and a configurable layout which can show full screen navigation mapping with turn-by-turn instructions, digital dials, media, contact list or infotainment details.
New to Jaguar XE is the 360° Surround Camera system which provides an overhead view of surroundings on the touchscreen. It displays several different views at the same time for effortless manoeuvres in tight spaces.
Power in performance
When it comes to performance, the power and sheer driving pleasure of the Jaguar XE is engineered for power and refinement.
In terms of performance, the new XE is available with the next generation Ingenium 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, with the latest petrol engine
To ensure optimum gear control and acceleration, the XE is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel-drive.
