Progresif extends helping hands to frontliners

As the country combats the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, Progresif recently joined efforts with Society for Community Outreach and Training (SCOT) under its Social Kitchen Programme in supplying 400 packed meals to frontliners at various swab, vaccination and isolation centres.

Progresif employees and its Chief Executive Officer Hajah Nurul Haniah Haji Jaafar lend a helping hand in handing over the packed meals donation to locations such as RIPAS Sports Complex, the Games Village, Bridex, Indoor Stadium and National Isolation Centres.

“The same way we have supported SCOT’s Social Kitchen last year, we will continue to lend our time and effort to ensure our CSR Partners and the communities that depend on us will not be left behind,” said the ceo.

The Social Kitchen aimed to help empowered mothers from socio-economically challenged background by preparing packed meals and at the same time to train them on building their own businesses.

To date, SCOT have received donation for frontliners initiatives amounting to 2500 cooked meals. –Analisa Amu
