National carrier Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) recently won two accolades “Asia’s Leading Airline: Business Class 2021” and “Asia’s Leading Cabin Crew 2021” from the World Travel Awards (WTA).
The titles marked RB’s second consecutive win for Asia’s Leading Cabin Crew and the first for Asia’s Leading Airline: Business Class after being nominated in the category for three times from 2010 until 2012.
n a statement, Acting CEO of RB Sabirin Abdul Hamid said that their guests are at the heart of everything they do.

On his part, founder of WTA Graham E. Cooke said that RB has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to raising the aviation industry bar.
“I am delighted that this has been acknowledged by both the travel trade and consumers who have voted it as Asia’s Leading Airline – Business Class 2021’ and ‘\Asia’s Leading Cabin Crew 2021. Congratulations to the entire team,” praised Cooke.
WTA was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. The brand is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence.
The national carrier also received nominations for the same categories in the world region namely, World’s Leading Cabin Crew 2021 and Business Class 2021.
The World’s Leading Cabin Crew is the second consecutive nomination for RB and RB’s first nomination for World’s Leading Airlines.
Last year, RB emerged as the World’s Leading Cabin Crew winner in the WTA.
