Get ready to sweat and burn some calories with the largest virtual body combat session next month!
Fitness Zone and The Brunei Book of Records have joined together to host the record-breaking virtual event on 13 November, gathering fitness fanatics to strike, punch and kick their way through calories from the comfort of their home.
The collaboration is an attempt to set the record for “The Most Number of People Participating in an Online Fitness Class” at one time in Brunei.
For the session, the fitness centre will be conducting online body combat classes that include a whole-body workout programme that mimics the movements of various combat sports such as boxing, kickboxing and muay thai.
The body combat session does not require any equipment or a lot of space which makes it ideal for beginners to join.
Registration is open to the public and interested participants can sign up on the brunei.events’ website at https://brunei.events/bbor-body-combat/.
The fee for the virtual session is priced at $35 which includes a t-shirt, goodie bags and a raffle ticket for a chance to win some lucky draw prizes.
Proceeds from the registration will be contributed towards the COVID-19 Relief Fund.
The organisers in a statement said that with fitness centres in the country suspending their operations to help the government flatten the pandemic curve, many businesses need to shift and adapt to online platform.
Hence, the virtual body combat session by Fitness Zone.
As part of the record-breaking attempt, the virtual session will appear on the The Brunei Book of Records platform both on their website at www.bruneibookofrecords.comas well as the printed version of the Brunei Book of Record.
