“Testament to this are the strong selling points of its price, build quality and overall driving experience, despite being longer, taller and wider than a majority of dual-cab pickups in the market,” he said during the launch.
During the launch event at its showroom at The Walk, Beribi, GWM Poer highlighted their engineering achievements and intelligent safety features that makes the Poer brand “Car of the Year in Australia ” and “Best Pickup of the Year in Chile ”.
On top of that, the GWM Poer has been rated by the Australian Five-Star New Vehicle Assessment Program (ANCAP).
The all-new Poer Sucan

Make your presence known with the Poer Sucan. The Sucan derives its name from the Malay word “sukan”, which translates to sport.
The bold and rugged exterior of the Sucan stands out among the traffic. The pronounced body sculpting over the wheel arches further gives the five-seater an aggressive stance on the road.
Available in seven stunning colours; Pure White, Mars Red, Crystal Black, Cocoa Brown, Pittsburgh Silver and Atlantis Blue, the Sucan
While disguised in its tough and rugged exterior, the interior of the Sucan however offers a luxurious cabin for both driver and passengers to travel in supreme comfort.
Inside, the driver and passengers are pampered in comfortable seats, surrounded by strong and quality materials that push the envelope for the 4WD.
The Sucan seats just up to five people comfortably. Also providing both the driver and passenger ample space for headroom and legroom.
From the driver’s seat, the seat strikes a good balance between comfort and support with decent adjustment ranges.
Not only that, but the cockpit wraps around the driver, putting all controls and dials within easy reach.
In terms of performance, the five-seater is powered by a mighty 2.0 Turbocharged Diesel that produces 161 Horsepower and 400 Nm of torque equivalent to the load capacity of four adult male polar bears.
Capable of challenges, the Sucan is engineered for both off-road and on-road.
When it comes to safety, the Poer is on top of its game. The all-new Sucan comes with the evolved and comprehensive Bosch Generation 9.3 ESP system setting a new benchmark for smart safety.
The pick-up also offers numerous safety features that include emergency brake assist (HBA), traction control system (TCS), hill-start assist control (HAC), reversing camera, reversing radar and many more.

The Poer Ruman

Styled for adventure, the family-focused Poer Ruman exudes confidence and the perfect blend of athleticism and elegance, captivating from every side.
The “Ruman” is clever word play of the Malay word “rumah”, which translates to house.
The striking design language flows perfectly through the menacing front fascia; it gets a bold chrome grille that is further complemented by the distinctive jewel headlamp, giving the 4WD a muscular look.
Like the Poer Sucan, the Ruman is also available in six striking colours; Pure White, Mars Red, Crystal Black, Cocoa Brown, Pittsburgh Silver and Atlantis Blue.
Inside, the five-seater 4WD stunning looks extends to its interior style. Every component you can see and touch has been meticulously designed to deliver comfort.
Once seated in the SUV, the cabin makes passengers feel at home as the seating ergonomics and leather bucket seats are designed to provide equal comfort and space whether you are sitting at the front or rear.
The cabin of the 5-seater also maintains a focus on technology, creating a modern ambiance to appeal to tech-savvy customers.
